Dear HVIS contributor, How to submit? m.j.burchell[AT]kent[DOT]ac[DOT]uk When to submit? Open Access Figures etc.
All those with oral or poster presentations should submit full-length papers. The template was circulated recently, and is available
If you are unable to attend the meeting please let me know, especially if you have an oral presentation as the programme will need adjusting. And please do register if you have not done so yet.
How to submit? Please email me your word document. It must be a word document. The template says you should also submit a pdf, but that is in addition to the word document. The refereeing and final adjustments for the proceedings will all be done on the word document version. Please send the document to myself at:
When to submit? To keep to a tight schedule please submit your papers before the symposium itself. The target submission date is Wednesday 12th April 2017. But you can submit from now onwards if you wish. I will then distribute papers to the Technical Chairs for refereeing. We hope to have all refereeing done by end May 2017, with final submission of corrected papers by end of June 2017. I then edit the papers together and send to Elsevier at end July 2017. As you can see this schedule is quite tight, so please do start writing now, and you can submit as soon as you are ready.
Open AccessThe papers will appear in an issue of Elsevier's online open access journal: Proceedia Engineering. When the final paper is at Elsevier and about to be published you will be sent a link to a copyright form. This will be a CC-BY-NC-ND license. This is a creative commons license, and you should look up details online if you wish.
