12th Early Career Scientists' meeting
AccommodationCentre for Astrophysics and Planetary Science will provide free accommodation in double rooms to all participants on the 19th of February. You are able to select if you wish accommodation and the person to be with (if you have a preference) at the UKPF website.
Registration for accommodation is now CLOSED.
Hotel InformationAll participants will be host at the Premier Inn Hotel in Canterbury. Hotel is located just outside city's walls within 6' walking distance from Canterbury Bus Station and 20' from Canterbury West train station.
For the conveniece of participants from Ireland, Glasgow or abroad we may provide, according to our limitted funds, rooms for another night. If you wish to stay the night before or after please send us your name and affiliation (you may also wish to give the name of the person who want to share the room with) here before the end of the year. We are going to do our best to help.
In addition we are providing daily bus tickets to commute within Canterbury Bus Station - University of Kent route. Both Darwin and Parkwood UniBuses start from the same bays at Canterbury Bus Station and lead to Ingram Building.

TravelCanterbury is easily accesible via London by train or bus.
- There are highspeed trains every half an hour from St. Pancras to Canterbury West train station, using the Southeaster Services (platforms 11,12,13). These include:
- Direct trains run every hour. Duration 56'.
- Trains with one change in Ashford are also every hour. Total duration approximately 1h 30'.
- Slow trains run every half an hour from Charing Cross to Canterbury West train station, using the Southeastern Survices. Duration 1h 45'.
